<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> We have an immediate need for a Data Architect -Tivoli Business Systems Management<BR><BR>JOB DESCRIPTION<BR>Tivoli - 5 (Skill level 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) <BR><BR> <BR><BR>Business Intelligence - 5 <BR><BR>ADM - 4 <BR><BR>5 - TBSM 4.1 product <BR><BR>4 - TEC Event Forwarding <BR><BR>5 - Leadership <BR><BR>5 - Communication - Written and Verbal <BR><BR>4 - Omnibus Product <BR><BR>3 - Application Development Experience <BR><BR>5 - Presentation Skills <BR><BR>2 - TSLA <BR><BR>Brief Description of Position: <BR><BR>The Data Architect is responsible for data management and maintenance as it relates to the Business Systems Management (BSM) methodology. Working with business partners and cross-functional teams, this person evaluates BSM and application data requirements and aids in the recommendation and proposal of systems management solutions as necessary. The data architect will aid in: <BR><BR> <BR><BR>the decomposition of business processes, <BR><BR>the decomposition of technical diagrams and information, <BR><BR>the interconnects between diverse data sources. <BR><BR>The BSM Data Architect must effectively understand multiple IT disciplines. <BR><BR> <BR><BR>Responsibilities Include: <BR><BR>Own the Steady-State Maintenance and ongoing integrity of the customer data retained for BSM data displays. <BR><BR>Assist with BSM Business and Technical Decompositions and analysis. ie. what kind of data is going to be needed. <BR><BR>Understand the customer data and have the ability to manage and manipulate the data per customer requirements with the focus on maintaining data integrity. <BR><BR>Assist in relating individual data elements to business impact views. <BR><BR> <BR><BR>Assist in mapping BSM Decomposition and Analysis findings into tool and process requirements with the focus on maintaining data integrity. <BR><BR> <BR><BR>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop Point of Arrival (POA) solutions and implementation roadmaps for ongoing maintenance of BSM data; including problem/change integration and reporting system integration. <BR><BR> <BR><BR>The Data Architect must be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency and under sometimes tight deadlines. They must also be able to work closely with other group members in a team environment but require little or no supervision to complete individual tasks or deliverables.
